Step 1. The first thing we need to do is discover the Speed of your upload. Using this we can determine the highest stable resolution and bandwidth you can work with. To do this head over to speedtest.net and click go. After the test has been run, the upload speed will show on the right. This is the most important factor when it comes to broadcasting.
Ad you can see our internet connection has an upload speed of 9.37MBPs or 9370 Kilobits a second. This allows us to use any resolution we want. Find your upload speed in the chart bellow to establish your maximum resolution.

- Through the rest of this tutorial we will assume your internet upload speed was 4MBPs and that your PC met all the requirements for 720p broadcast. If you are running windows 10, your hardware should be capable of this.
Step 2. If this is the first time you have opened OBS it will offer you the use of its auto-configuration wizard. This will always overshoot what we require at cambunny so its not worth using. Click no. If this is not the first time you have used OBS skip to step 4.
Step 3. OBS will now prompt you, to let you know you can try again later. OK is your only option here, so click it!
Step 4. Navigate to Https://cambunny.co.uk and click Log-in
Step 5. Enter your username and password and click login.
Step 6: Navigate to the performer dashboard, ensure its set to HTML5 and Free chat and click go live. (at this point you will not actually be going live, but you need to go to the live window to retrieve your logon URL and token).
Step 7. A HTML5 Player will load, with a chat interface, but you will see you are not currently live. click on the broadcast tab.
Step 8. In this tab you will find your stream URL and key, needed for OBS to go live. (we have obscured ours for obvious reasons).
Step 9. Return to your OBS window, click file and then settings.
Step 10. Click on the stream tab in the settings.
Step 11. Select the drop down menu under service and click custom.
Step 12: Copy the stream URL you found in step 8 into the box marked server in OBS.
Step 13: Now copy the stream Key you acquired from your broadcasting tab in step 8, into the stream key section of OBS.
Step 14. Click APPLY, and then click on output.
Step 15. We now need to enter our video bitrate (in step one you should have run a speedtest to determine the maximum bitrate and resolution your machine and internet connection can achieve on our service. We will enter details during the tutorial assuming you have at least a 3MBPs upload speed and are capable of broadcasting in 720p as a result. In the video bitrate section, put in the correct amount for your connection (for 720p this is 1200KBps).
Step 16. Click on the Audio Bit-rate drop down and select the appropriate bit-rate based on the results of your speedtest in step 1, for us this is 96kbps.
Step 17. Click on the Video Tab.
Step 18. Set your “Base (canvas) Resolution“, by clicking the drop down box and either selecting or manually typing a resolution.
NB. Set this NO HIGHER THAN THE RESOLUTION OF YOUR SOURCE. Generally this would be set to 1280×720 at maximum, if your webcam is not 720p then do not create a 720p canvas and do not broadcast in 720p, use the chart at the beginning of this tutorial to manually enter the maximum resolution your webcam supports.
Step 19. Set your “Output (scaled) resolution” this can never be higher than your Base resolution and should be the broadcast resolution you intend to stream at (established from your speed test), for us this is 720p or 1280×720.
Step 20. Now click on the drop down common FPS values, We recommend selecting 24 FPS.
24FPS is a high enough frame rate for bluray discs so it looks good in motion, while reducing the number of frames your bandwidth is split between, so over all quality of the frame is better (meaning better quality video), while encoding the minimum number of frames for smooth video reduces your CPU resources, it reduces the number of resources needed by your view to decode as well. Giving them a better experience and increasing your chance of getting tips.
Step 21: Now click apply and Okay, if you have followed our tutorial, you should now be all setup to stream to the server, we just need to add a media source and go live!
Step 22. Click the plus in the sources box.
Step 23: Click Video Capture device.
Step 24: Make sure your source has a title (honestly the default is fine). Make source visible should be checked, then click Okay.
Step 25: You should now be presented with the webcam window, if all went well you should now see your webcam listed under device, make sure you have the right webcam selected (you will see a preview above), we recommend leaving everything else at its default settings and clicking Okay.
Step 26: Drag your camera to fill the source frame (its entirely possible this was already correct but if not. Just click and drag the dots in the corners until the meet the corners of your canvas.).
Step 27: Now click “start streaming”.
Step 28: Return to your cambunny tab, inside 30 seconds (absolute max, you should be seeing a preview of your live stream. If you don’t press F5, This should force it to reload and connect.
Thats it! Now just click on the chat tab and talk to your viewers.
